 We also have a stunning range of jewellery to choose from in studio if you decide that you would really like to SPARKLE. Your Piercer will be able to guide you on the right choice for your anatomy and whether it is an option to add at the time of your piercing appointment or if it will be safer to wait until your new addition is fully healed before swapping over - we offer a complimentary change over service also to ensure complete safety & hygiene methods are used.

 

Piercing Pre Care Recommendations

•  Make sure you’ve eaten within 4 hours of your appointment

• Notify your piercer if you have a tendency to faint of feel sick with needles or blood

• Do not take medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen, blood thinners or stimulants such as (but not limited to) Adderall within 24 hours of your appointment

• Ensure you have not been been under the influence of alcohol at least 8 hours (and not more than 2 standard drinks within 24hours before your appointment)

• Wear clothes that have easy access to the area being treated if navel or nipple piercing and also recommended to not wear white shirts that can mark easily in case of blood drops

 

Piercing After Care Recommendations

• Do not touch your piercing! This includes twisting the jewellery to avoid bacteria which could lead it to longer healing times or infection or skin rejecting the piercing

• Clean your new piercing twice daily with sterile saline solution and do not remove the jewellery for any reason unless instructed by your piercer or a medical professional. Other than this; do not get the piercing excessively wet where possible. Clean running water in the shower should also  be enough to clear anything around the piercing if you don’t have saline.

• Never leave the piercing site wet or moist as this can attract bacteria

• To drying your piercing, use a fresh cotton tip and lightly pat dry, avoid moving piercing. You can also use a hair dryer on cool temp setting to help dry the area (keeping at a safe distance)

• Never touch a fresh or healing piercing, including sleeping on it, or causing any sort of movement or pressure (eg. glasses, helmets, tight clothing, masks etc.)

• Avoid soaking or submerging the piercing in any bodies of water (including the ocean and pool or creeks and dams) for the entire healing period. This timeframe will vary person to person and is recommended to avoid these activities until your 6-12week review and approval by your piercer.

COMPLIMENTARY POST TREATMENT REVIEW

All piercings take varying times to heal & you should not change over any piercings until after your complimentary review and approval by the piercer. You may prebook this complimentary review (min) 6- (max) 12weeks post piercing with Tiny Tatts Co or at the time of your piercing. Reviews are complimentary only if booked within 6-12weeks and may be charged additional fees for a review requests booked after these timeframes.

If you have pre-purchased extra jewellery that you wish to have your piercings changed over to, you may bring this with you however we do not guarantee your piercing will be changed or downsized this day pending it’s healing journey!

 

 

PIERCING AGE RESTRICTIONS APPLY IN QLD :

* You will need to provide a valid ID on the day of your booking. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must attend the appointment to provide consent. Parents or guardians will also need to bring either a Valid Medicare or healthcare card that includes both of your names to confirm guardianship.

* We do not offer dermal/nipple piercings to under 18

 

 

EXTRA INFO TO BE AWARE OF BEFORE BOOKING

We DO NOT pierce whilst pregnant or breastfeeding

Everyone’s anatomy is different and therefore not everyone will be suitable candidates for the requested areas; however your piercing professional may be able to carefully guide you on alternatives on the day.

If looking for 3+ piercings in one sitting on one ear - this is classed as a Curation and will need to have a Curation Consultation booked first to ensure we can safely do all the requested piercings in one day or we can arrange a treatment plan with you to achieve your desired look over multiple sessions.

Different Piercings have different healing times, and different people may take longer to heal.

We do not advise changing your own jewellery over. We always recommend booking in a change over session so your piercing professional may confirm your piercings are fully healed before changing over (we only offer this change over service with our own jewellery.

Due to the nature of the service we do not allow recording in piercing room

Numbing cream is not provided if you wish to use numbing cream prior to your appointment follow recommended steps on the selected product.

Many piercings can fully heal within 3-6 months, others may take up to 12 months or longer.

 

 

CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING REQUESTS

We understand that life happens; however please be aware that cancellation policies apply within 48hours of your appointment as follows:

Before 48hours: NO WORRIES

Within 48hours: 20% of booking

Within 24hrs: 50% of booking

Day of or NO SHOW: 100% of booking due!

All cancellations or rescheduling of appointments MUST be acknowledged by the piercer and the easiest way to contact us is via Instagram or FB message.
